Marchesini farm is located in Praticello di Gattatico, between the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Parma, 5 minutes from the highway exit Terre di Canossa.
Reggio Emilia is the city of the “ Tricolore “, where the Italian flag was born and Parma was named Italian capital of culture for the year 2020 in 2018.
These areas are known for having been the dominion of Matilda of Canossa, whose lands extended from Mantua, to Reggio Emilia up to the Parma, Modena and Ferrara areas and are still referred to as Matilda lands.
Today, in these places, you can enjoy typical and famous products such as Parmigiano-Reggiano, Balsamic Vinegar from Modena, Mortadella from Bologna, Lambrusco Wine, Salami di Felino, Culatello di Zibello, Crudo di Parma and many others products that you can taste and purchase in our farm shop.
For bike lovers it is possible to book your tour and rent bikes to discover wonderful scenery between Parma and Reggio Emilia accompanied by an excellent guide.
