Our history

In 1936 grandfather Riccardo began working as a tenant in the stable of a beautiful farm located on the maps as "Casello", which in our area means “ dairy farm”. In 1947, after the war, his sons Amelio, Toribio and Enzo took over the dairy and became cheesemakers and in 1954 they purchased the entire property from Ticinese, a Swiss insurance company. Today the tradition is carried on, with a lot of passion and respect for the environment and animal welfare, by Toribio's children: Riccardo, Marialuisa and Andrea. Nowdays , on the farm site, it is possible to see the entire Parmigiano Reggiano supply chain, from the stable to the dairy to the maturing warehouse.
